Supervise the shipping and receving of all freight into an out of plant. ensure customers satisfaction with the service provides as regards delivery time. nnnJob Responsibilities nList the main functions of the role, being clear and concise (avoid using abbreviations, use short sentences, stress what is unique, emphasize what makes your job and organization special). If this is a re-evaluation of an existing role, highlight the job responsibilities that are new to the role. nA. Advise staff personnel on daily production status. nB. Promote Standardize work methods and ways to improve them. nC. Provide and implement training that will enable personnel to better perform their nD. Implement the culture and way of work at Eaton nE. Coordinate and maintain associate clerical files regarding attendance, overtime equalization, vacation, training and time-off requests. nF. Conduct weekly department meetings with associates regarding communications, department and plant concerns, and policy interpretation. nG. Provide training resources within the department for training new associates. nH. Assist General Supervisors in determining personnel requirements. nI. Initiate and coordinate assistance, as required from support departments. nJ. Coordinate daily shipping schedules with materials planning (documents, packaging) nK. Monitor machinery, equipment and facility and initiate maintenance work orders as required, to ensure efficient, effective and safe working conditions. nL.
