Payroll Specialist (US & Mexico) – Onsite Location: Monterrey, Reciente León, Mexico

About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist to manage and process payroll operations for both the United States and Mexico. This role requires strong knowledge of cross-border payroll processes, compliance, and systems, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment.
Key Responsibilities Process end-to-end payroll for U.S. and Mexico employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Manage payroll using platforms such as Prism, Gusto, and OysterHR
Ensure compliance with all applicable U.S. and Mexican payroll laws, tax regulations, and reporting requirements
Maintain payroll records, audits, and reconciliations
Coordinate with HR and Finance teams to ensure proper employee data, benefits, and deductions are applied
Handle payroll-related inquiries from employees in a professional and timely manner
Support payroll reporting and assist with month-end and year-end processes




Stay updated on changes in payroll regulations in both countries
Qualifications 3+ years of payroll experience, including both U.S. and Mexico payroll processing
Hands-on experience with payroll systems such as Prism, Gusto, and OysterHR
Strong understanding of Mexican payroll laws (IMSS, ISR, INFONAVIT) and U.S. payroll regulations
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (required)
High attention to detail and accuracy
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
Preferred Qualifications Experience processing payroll in the healthcare or medical industry
Experience supporting multi-state U.S. payroll
Familiarity with audits, compliance reviews, and reporting
