We are looking for a Senior Collections Specialist to oversee both internal and external Collection Operations for global markets. This individual will work closely with internal Finance, Risk, Product and Operational teams to help build a sound internal collections process. This includes establishing repeatable and scalable standard operating procedures. They will also work with external partners including local Law firms, 3rd party Debt Recovery companies and field services to ensure superior quality and performance. This individual will report to the Global Head of Collections but also have a dotted line to Regional Country Managers with whom they support.



The teams you will work with are extremely collaborative and have a bias to execution.

Job Responsibilities: Build out and oversee a team to handle collection processes at a rapidly growing international company, utilizing industry leading practices and success indicators
Drive continual automation and measurement against critical collection metrics, operational goals, and key reporting
Oversee the collection of outstanding credit to minimize losses and delinquencies without constraining growth
Work cross functionally with other finance, engineering, and in-country team members to create and implement collections policies and procedures that minimize credit loss
In conjunction with Risk team members, manage complex credit risk and collections cases through work-outs and other alternative collections strategies
Manage and Own Regional Collections Portfolio
Accounts Reconciliation
Preparing regular reports on collections efforts and report out to Sr. Leaders
Manage the Vendor Outsourcing process. Includes Selection, Onboarding, Performance management and Due Diligence reviews

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or minimum of 5+ years Collections
5+ years experience collecting in the small business/commercial lending industry
Collection agency management experience required
Fluent in English & Spanish, Jeeves is a general company and English is the language we use internally to communicate between regions, Portuguese speaking ability a plus
Ability to work accurately with strong analytical skills and an eye for detail
Strong communication skills to support clients; negotiate, listen and comprehend client concerns
Experience with consumer/corporate credit cards or related industries preferred
Experience in high growth startups preferred
