Role Summary and Impact
Strategic Planning
Talent Identification.
Definition of Influencer Mix: Structure balanced campaigns between Mega-influencers (for mass reach), Micro/Nano influencers (for specific niches), and KOLs (key opinion leaders).
Briefing: Translate business objectives into creative instructions that influencers can execute without losing their essence.
Operational Management and Relationship Building
Contract Negotiation: Manage usage rights so that influencer content can be used in other media (paid media, OOH, etc.).
Production Oversight: Review and approve scripts, storyboards, and final drafts, ensuring that brand guidelines are followed.
Community Management: Coordinate with influencers to respond to key comments or participate in real-time dynamics during events (such as FIFA events).
Execution of Special Campaigns
Activations: Implement campaigns focused on sustainability or community, ensuring that the message is genuine and organic.
Event Coverage: Manage influencers on-site for large events (concerts, soccer games), coordinating logistics, access, and immediate deliverables.
Analysis, Compliance, and Reporting
Brand Safety Monitoring: Constantly monitor that selected influencers are not involved in controversies that affect the brand's reputation.
Performance Reporting: Prepare monthly and campaign-specific executive reports, comparing results against industry benchmarks.
Administrative Control: Ensure compliance with WPP billing and payment processes for suppliers and talent.
Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Advertising, Communication, or related field.
At least 5 years of experience in influencer marketing.
Experience:
Strategic and Business Skills
Brand Alignment (Brand Equity): Ability to translate the brand's integral tone of voice into the organic language of creators, ensuring that content does not appear to be “traditional advertising.”
Ecosystem Vision: Understanding how influencer marketing integrates with other areas.
Budget and ROI Management: Efficient management of budgets (influencer fees vs. production) and ability to demonstrate return on investment beyond “likes.”
Technical and Digital Skills
Proficiency in Platforms and Algorithms: In-depth knowledge of TikTok, Instagram (Reels), and YouTube, and how success metrics vary across each platform.
Use of Influencer Marketing Tools: Proficiency in platforms such as CreatorIQ or similar for profile discovery and auditing (detection of fake followers).
Data Analysis: Ability to interpret specific KPIs:
ER (Engagement Rate)
VTR (View Through Rate)
Sentiment Analysis (analysis of sentiment in comments).
Soft Skills
Negotiation and Contracting: Ability to negotiate terms of exclusivity, image rights,
and deliverables (Usage Rights) with talent agencies.
Crisis Management: Ability to respond to controversies related to an influencer to protect the brand's “Social License.”
Storytelling: Ability to co-create scripts with influencers that feel authentic but meet communication objectives.
Process Skills
Compliance and Legal: Within the brand, compliance with responsible marketing standards (especially in relation to minors and health).
Executive Agility: Ability to manage multiple simultaneous campaigns under strict delivery times.
