INJECTION MOLDING ENGINEER
Job Responsibilities:
- **Responsible for conducting mold testing, development and optimization of injection molding process parameters and liquid silicone rubber molding process parameters for new and existing molds to improve yield and cycle time.**:
- Responsible for executing IQ/OQ/PQ validations and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- **Analyse production issues, identify root causes and resolve defects related to the molding process.**:
- Collaborate with relevant departments to ensure compatibility of mold, machine and auxiliary equipment for effectiveness in production.
- **Provide training and hands-on support to production technicians and operators regarding molding process and safe operations.**:
- Participate in review of part designs for manufacturability (DFM) and collaborate with design & project teams on mold design and tooling procurement.
- **Monitor and improve cycle times, yields, quality and overall production efficiency.**:
- Stay updated with advancements in injection molding technology and materials.
- **Perform any other duties as assigned.**
**Requirements**:
- Professional certification,



diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Plastics Engineering or a related discipline.
- **Minimum 2 years(engineer) / 5 years(senior engineer) of experience in injection molding process development and optimization.**:
- Proficient in scientific molding techniques and robotic EOAT (end-of-arm tooling).
- **Experience and strong understanding of plastic injection molding and liquid silicone molding processes, machines and tooling.**:
- Strong knowledge in plastic, TPE and LSR material properties.
- **Ability to read and interpret part drawing and tolerances including geometric dimensioning & tolerancing (GD&T;)**:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and trouble-shoot tooling issues to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve production quality.
- **Strong communication and teamwork abilities.**:
- Ability to rapidly adapt to new technologies and manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in English (75%)
