DescriptionAbout ScalepexScalepex is a nearshore talent partner supporting global organizations with high-performing engineering teams across technology and operations.As a Scalepex engineer, you will work with enterprise-scale environments, collaborate with international teams, and deliver production-ready solutions for global clients.Role OverviewThe Implementation Engineer is ahands-on senior network engineerresponsible for deploying and implementingmodern data center network architectureswithin enterprise environments.This role focuses on executing finalized designs, particularlyVXLAN EVPN fabrics ,BGP underlay/overlay , andArista-based solutions.This is aproduction-facing implementation role , not a support or NOC position.The idóneo candidate hasdirect, hands-on experience deploying and troubleshooting data center networksusing Cisco Nexus and Arista technologies.Key ResponsibilitiesExecute hands-on implementation of finalizedArista and Cisco Nexus network designsDeploy and validateVXLAN EVPN fabricsin spine–leaf architecturesConfigure and troubleshootBGP underlay and overlayPerform network migrations and cutovers,



including weekend activities when requiredRun and troubleshootAnsible playbooksfor network automation and configuration tasksValidate configurations through testing to ensure stability, security, and performanceDocument implementations, SOPs, and configuration standardsCollaborate with architects, project managers, and client engineering teamsSupport post-implementation optimization and tuningRequirementsMandatory3+ years of hands-on experience indata center networkingHands-on experience withCisco Nexus (9 K preferred)Hands-on experience withArista switchesin production environmentsProven experience implementingVXLAN EVPNStrong working knowledge ofBGP , including underlay and overlay conceptsExperience withspine–leaf architecturesAbility to run and troubleshootAnsible playbooksin network environmentsExperience participating innetwork migrations / change windowsExperience withArista Cloud Vision Portal (CVP)Python scripting for network automationUnix/Linux exposureCCNP or CCIE certificationFinancial services environment experienceAvailability to work weekends for migrations when required
