The Assistant Maintenance Supervisor will exhibit good, supervisory and safety behaviors and will specifically ensure that all aspects of Engine Room operation or aft machinery space and maintenance are carried out safely, through careful delegation and control of responsibilities.Authority
The Assistant Maintenance Supervisor is specifically responsible for the operation and maintenance of Engine Room / AMS equipment and Process utility systems controlled by the Engine Room and for the guidance and familiarization of those under their immediate supervision.Immediate Subordinates

Engine Room Equipment and Systems and Utilities Operation and Maintenance1 Prepare Engine Room or AMS and Utility Systems for start-up.2 Start and Monitor Engine Room or AMS and Utility Systems.3 Prepare and Shutdown Engine Room or AMS and Utility Systems.4 Isolate and reinstate Engine Room or AMS and Utility Systems for Maintenance.2) Manage And Supervise Effectively1 Establish effective relationships with colleagues and subcontractors.2 Implement scope of work clearly (briefings, toolbox talks, presentations).3 Plan and control use of resources effectively.
