We are looking for a Senior Test Automation Engineer (Java) to drive automation testing for a financial management platform currently under development. This is a great chance to help build an automation framework from scratch, as the project shifts from manual to automated testing.

Responsibilities

Develop functional, integration, and acceptance test cases
Create automated test cases for regression, functional, and smoke testing




Organize and execute automation tasks while upholding testing standards across the team
Incorporate test cycles into the DevOps pipeline
Resolve system issues creatively and efficiently through effective troubleshooting
Build automation for backend services (REST APIs) and frontend
Record and report defects
Oversee test data and test environments
Handle version management of test scripts

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or a related field; Master's degree preferred
5+ years of professional experience in Quality Assurance, including at least 3+ years in test automation development or a mix of development and testing experience
Proficiency in Java
Background in REST and SOAP API testing, ideally with SOAPUI and Groovy scripting
Expertise in Selenium or comparable tools, together with Cucumber
Capability to build and maintain automation scripts that ensure information systems services and programs meet acceptance criteria
