Job Overview

Performs basic activities in the design and maintenance of equipment for generating, distributing, and utilizing electrical energy.

Job Requirements

- Assisting in electrical wiring, fixture, equipment installation, and assembly, using specific technologies, tools, and equipment.
- Supporting in design and maintenance of equipment for the purpose of power generation, distribution, and control.
- Providing technical support for work involving motors, generators, transformers, switchboards etc.
- Analyzing and solving component defects and malfunctions in electrical systems.

What your background should look like

Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related work experience. Requires completion of high school. Vocational training or an AA degree is preferred.
