Our client is a well-established international organization with operations across North America, focused on supporting complex supply chain and trade compliance activities.
Descripción
- Coordinate daily communication with carriers, freight providers, customs brokers, warehouses, purchasing teams, and customer service.
- Track domestic and international shipments.
- Manage import and export logistics processes.
- Organize and facilitate dispatch of orders.
- Prepare shipping quotations, dimensions, and freight cost estimates.
- Coordinate transfers between warehouses and distribution points.
- Generate packing lists, commercial invoices, and shipping documentation.
- Complete Certificates of Origin (COO, USMCA).
- Process export declarations (AES/EEI) and shipping instructions.
- Monitor inventory levels and support optimization initiatives.
- Audit and approve logistics-related invoices.
Perfil buscado
Must Have
- 5 to 7 years of experience in logistics, trade compliance, customs, or import/export operations.
- Hands-on IMMEX experience.
- Strong customs and international trade knowledge.
- Experience coordinating cross-border shipments between Mexico and the United States.
- Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal).
- Experience working with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and carriers.
- Knowledge of import/export documentation.
- Experience preparing COO, USMCA, EEI, and AES documentation.
- Strong organizational skills and sense of urgency.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Availability to work 100% onsite.
Nice to Have
- Experience in manufacturing, industrial, automotive, chemical, or distribution environments.
- Inventory management experience.
- Invoice auditing and approval experience.
- Exposure to warehouse transfer coordination.
- Experience implementing process improvements within logistics operations.
Not a Fit
- Candidates whose experience is primarily within the Food & Beverage industry.
