We are looking for someone with strong accounting fundamentals who understands debits and credits, journal entries, account classifications, and how transactions affect the General Ledger and financial statements.This is not a purely transactional role.
The adecuado candidate can review information critically, identify discrepancies, investigate their root causes, and confirm that transactions are complete, accurate, and recorded in the correct accounts.ResponsibilitiesPrepare and post journal entries to the General LedgerPerform balance sheet and GL account reconciliationsSupport month-end and year-end closing activitiesPrepare and review entries related to accruals, prepaid expenses, depreciation, and reclassificationsReview asset and liability accounts and investigate incorrect or unusual balancesSupport Accounts Receivable, invoicing, collections, payment application, and customer account reconciliationsInvestigate billing discrepancies, short payments, unapplied cash, and incorrect balancesReview project and operational information to support accurate invoicing and accountingHelp connect project activity, invoicing, revenue,



and related General Ledger transactionsSupport Work in Progress and revenue recognition activities, as applicableCollaborate with U.S.-based Finance and Operations teams to resolve accounting issuesIdentify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and reportingRequirementsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field+3 years of relevant accounting experience.
