Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Monitor and maintain quality control procedures to ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations.
Conduct regular quality audits and inspections throughout the production process to identify areas for improvement.
Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
Develop, review, and update quality documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and quality manuals.
Train and educate staff on quality standards and best practices to foster a culture of quality within the plant.
Analyze quality data and prepare reports for management regarding trends, discrepancies, and areas of concern.
Work closely with regulatory agencies and assist in inspections and certifications related to food safety.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Food Engineering, Food Science, or a related field.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in quality control or quality assurance within the food industry.
Strong proficiency in English, both written and verbal; ability to communicate effectively with international stakeholders.
In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations, quality standards, and principles of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and quality management software.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with ISO ****, SQF or FSCC***** or other quality management systems.
Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC) and other quality improvement methodologies.
Certification in Food Safety or Quality Management is a plus.
