SAP PP/QM SME – Mexico Location: Mexico Work Mode: Remote + travel to Ciudad Juárez twice per month Hiring Mode: FTE Experience Level: Senior / SME About the Role We are seeking an experienced SAP PP/QM Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support and optimize Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM) processes within SAP S/4HANA manufacturing environments across Mexico. The idóneo candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in SAP PP and QM , with a solid understanding of manufacturing operations, production planning, quality processes, warehouse integration, and end-to-end supply chain execution. Key Responsibilities Lead and support SAP S/4HANA PP/QM processes across manufacturing operations. Support production planning, demand management, MRP, production orders, and shop floor control . Manage and optimize quality inspections, quality notifications, batch management, and quality processes . Analyze and improve production and quality processes to increase operational efficiency and standardization. Support integration between PP/QM, MM, WM/EWM, OTC, FICO, and Logistics . Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, warehouse, logistics, and business teams to define and validate business processes. Participate in Fit-Gap analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support . Support SAP S/4HANA implementations, rollouts, and process standardization across Mexico operations. MDE & Production/Warehouse Integration Support Mobile Data Entry (MDE) enabled processes connecting production, warehouse, and logistics operations. Support Simplified Push Delivery Processes and their integration with production and warehouse activities. Enable real-time production confirmations, inventory movements, material staging, and delivery execution through mobile solutions. Help improve operational visibility, inventory accuracy, and production process efficiency through mobile-enabled SAP transactions. Implementation & Project Experience Participate in Fit-Gap workshops and business process validation .



Support SIT/UAT, functional testing, defect resolution, and business acceptance . Contribute to cutover planning and execution . Support Go-Live and Hypercare activities. Assist with user training, documentation, process adoption, and continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure SAP solutions are scalable, standardized, and aligned with manufacturing business requirements. ️ Required Skills Strong hands-on experience with SAP PP . Strong hands-on experience with SAP QM . Experience with SAP S/4HANA manufacturing environments. Strong understanding of: Production Planning MRP Production Orders Shop Floor Control Demand Management Quality Inspections Quality Notifications Batch Management Experience integrating PP/QM with MM, WM/EWM, OTC, FICO, and Logistics . Experience with Mobile Data Entry (MDE) or mobile-enabled SAP manufacturing/warehouse processes. Experience with Simplified Push Delivery Processes is highly desirable. Experience with manufacturing operations and production environments. Strong experience with testing, deployment, Go-Live, and Hypercare . Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. ⭐ Nice to Have Experience supporting Mexico manufacturing operations . Automotive or other high-volume manufacturing experience. SAP EWM/WM knowledge. Experience with barcode scanning and RF/mobile devices. Experience with third-party logistics and warehouse integrations. Lean Manufacturing / Kaizen experience. Experience with global SAP rollouts. Experience working with cross-functional and international teams. Industry Experience Experience in manufacturing and production environments is highly valued, particularly candidates who have supported SAP PP/QM operations within Mexico-based manufacturing facilities .
