Following its recent acquisition by a larger international group, the Guadalajara plant is experiencing strong growth and significant investments, creating an exciting opportunity for an experienced Plant Controller to become a key business partner for the site's leadership team.Reporting directly to the Director of Finance & Administration, you will play a critical role in driving financial performance, supporting operational decision-making and ensuring accurate financial reporting across the manufacturing site.Key Responsibilities- Act as the Finance Business Partner for Operations, supporting Production, Supply Chain, Engineering and Management teams.- Analyze manufacturing performance, product profitability and cost variances, providing recommendations to improve financial performance.- Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting and monthly financial analysis processes.- Monitor inventory valuation, standard costs and manufacturing variances.- Perform detailed product costing,
COGS analysis and margin analysis.- Support pricing decisions and commercial profitability analysis.- Coordinate monthly IFRS reporting packages and financial closing activities.- Drive continuous improvement initiatives together with Operations to optimize manufacturing costs and operational efficiency.- Support investment analysis, CAPEX evaluation and business case development.- Prepare management reports and KPIs to support strategic decision-making.Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.- Minimum 3 years of experience as Plant Controller, Cost Controller or Industrial Controller within a manufacturing environment.- Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory valuation, standard costing and manufacturing finance.- Experience working with ERP systems (SAP FI/CO preferred).- Advanced Excel skills.- Strong analytical mindset and business acumen.- Ability to work closely with Operations and influence business decisions.- Fluent English.What We Offer- Opportunity to join a fast-growing international EMS company.- High visibility within both local and international management.- Strategic role with strong interaction across Finance and Operations.- Competitive compensation package and superior benefits.- Long-term career development within an international group.
