We compare more than 10 insurers in under two minutes to find the best option, and the user buys directly from the company they choose. Our mission is to help people save time and money. More than 3 million Mexicans have already found their car insurance with us.

We are part of Mavriq, a general leader in price comparison, with more than 1,500 people, 20 brands and a presence in 19 locations across 3 continents. Mavriq belongs to Moltiply Group, listed on the Milan Stock Exchange. The group's brands include Rastreator.com in Spain, LeLynx.fr in France and Segugio.it in Italy.

In Mexico we are a dynamic team of only 15 people. The business is growing at double digit rates and we plan to grow considerably faster over the next few years. We are also about to open a new line of business that will change how we work and raise our ambition for what this company can become.

The role

We are looking for an IT Business Analyst to be the link between insurers, our technology teams and the business in Mexico. The role splits into three roughly equal parts: integrations and technical requirements, data analysis and mapping, and business work focused on improving the product.

Your day to day will be with the Group's technology teams, who handle development, and with the business and leadership teams in Mexico.

What you will do

Integrations and technical requirements

- Manage the pricing and policy issuing API integrations with our insurers, from defining the requirement to putting it into production
- Write functional documentation and coordinate technical testing with the Group's development teams
- Follow the portfolio of technology projects in Mexico

Data analysis and quality





- Design and maintain the mapping logic between the insurers' catalogs and our databases, so the information can be compared on the site
- Run data quality checks, identify inconsistencies or deviations and follow them through to resolution

Business and product

- Analyze the quote funnel data to spot opportunities for improvement
- Propose new features and changes to the site based on that analysis

Requirements

- A degree in Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering or a related STEM field
- 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of SQL Server and the ability to query complex databases
- Knowledge of web services and systems architecture
- Experience with API review tools (Postman or SoapUI)
- Advanced English, since most of the communication with the Group's international teams is in that language
- Previous experience in insurance or financial services is a plus, though not a requirement

What we offer In a team of 15, what you build is visible. You will work in direct contact with the leadership team in Mexico and with the Group's international teams, and the integrations and data work you own will sit behind the new line of business we are about to launch.

Our office is at WeWork Varsovia, Colonia Juárez, Mexico City. We work a hybrid schedule, with 1 or 2 days of home office per week.
