Overview Design Engineer Jr
As a Design Engineer, you will collaborate with a highly skilled team of engineers, craftsmen, and project managers to develop buildable, cost-effective constructions for high-end custom furniture installed in some of the most recognized companies in the world. This role requires a strong balance of technical ability, creativity, and manufacturability awareness. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners including architects, designers, and fabricators to define the final product specifications and ensure seamless execution inside our Oakland manufacturing facility.
You will transform conceptual designs into fully engineered products by producing detailed, production-ready drawings and documentation. This includes modeling assemblies and components, generating blueprints for fabrication, evaluating materials and hardware, and coordinating with vendors to resolve technical details. From concept development through handoff to production, you will be exposed to the complete design lifecycle and have a visible impact on the finished product.
