The Role
We are seeking an experienced Principal Accountant to own accounting operations for the entities of a high-growth US company.
This is a senior leadership position that remains substantively hands-on. You will be accountable for the close, the local ledger, and the integrity of the books, alongside full responsibility for Philippine statutory reporting, BIR compliance, and the relationships with local auditors and advisors. You will also be the person who designs the close checklist, investigates the unreconciled balance through to its root cause, and rebuilds the processes that are no longer serving the business.
Reporting into US finance leadership, you will operate at the point where local statutory requirements meet a US-headquartered group reporting under US GAAP, and you will be trusted to reconcile the two without either standard being compromised.
