Essential
- Experience: 16–22 years in automotive engineering services or OEM/Tier-1 engineering, including at least 8 years leading delivery organisations of 200+ engineers.
- Domain depth: demonstrable ownership of HIL testing and embedded validation programmes — not oversight from a distance, but hands‐on technical credibility earned in the discipline.
- Scale: proven track record of scaling an engineering delivery organisation, including building the leadership layer beneath them.
- Client‐facing seniority: experience owning OEM or Tier-1 relationships at delivery‐governance level.
- Process: working command of ASPICE and ISO 26262; experience operating under OEM quality gate regimes.
- Language: professional fluency in English; working Spanish, or a credible commitment to acquiring it within the first year.




- Location: willing and able to be based on‐site in Mexico full‐time.

Strongly Preferred
- Prior experience operating in the Mexican automotive engineering ecosystem, with an understanding of the local talent market, labour practices and OEM cluster geography (Bajio, Monterrey, Puebla).
- Background in a integral engineering services model, with experience running offshore–onshore delivery across time zones.
- Exposure to ADAS, EV powertrain or vehicle electronics validation alongside core HIL.
- Experience standing up a new engineering centre or delivery capability from an early stage.
