Job Description SummaryAero New Units Project Finance Manager: this PFM is responsible for ensuring technical accounting compliance, financial and operational internal controls, process simplification and operational excellence to deliver accurate financial reporting and analysis.
More broadly, the PFM owns wing-to-wing project execution accounting, from project-set up to margin reviews to closing the books through a strong partnership with Region Finance and Ops.
Accountable for ensuring ledger fidelity in line with GAAP & STAT accounting policies & standards as also for Audit & Compliance.Job DescriptionEssential Functions (Responsibilities)Manage financial reporting and closing of projects in accordance with US GAAP.Overall project financial leadership – review contract and understand key deliverables, TT terms, cash milestones, payment terms, FX & tax implications; organize budget handover & allocation; ensure project reviews accurately reflect project financial status and drive results to meet & better the As-sold project financials, drive project margin reviewsPartner with the Project Team to analyze the execution performance and propose action plans to improve contract margin and cash profile as well as corrective action plans to mitigate identified risksDrive and support Project team in resolving all complex situations that arise in project execution ensuring the best financial outcome for GEBe connected to Region/HQ FP&A; team to ensure any variances to Plan is timely reflected in the weekly QMIsEnsure the project accounting entries are validated and accurately captured in the respective ledgersConnect with tax team to understand local implicationsResponsible to review and sign off project trial balance and ensure all the required supporting documentations are available for both internal and external audit requestsParticipate in cross-functional projects to drive LEAN and standardization of work.Strong collaboration with FP&A; for developing estimates,plans/forecasts/reviewsQualifications/RequirementsBachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in finance / accounting, or equivalent experiencePrior Project Finance Management experienceStrong experience in Finance / Accounting areas, supply chain finance is an advantage and /or equivalent experienceAdvanced user of Microsoft Excel, Power Point, (Oracle and/or SAP is an advantage)Fluent in English, both oral & writtenExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsAttitude to "own" problems and responsibility areasCan handle big databases, running reports from ERP, Oracle experience is an advantageDesiredStrong oral and written communication skillsAbility to work under tight deadlines and to prioritize under pressureHigh level of organization, attention to detail and commitment to meeting deliverablesAbility to coordinate several projects simultaneouslyEffective problem identification and solution skillsProven analytical and organizational abilityEase at working with remote stakeholdersAdditional InformationRelocation Assistance Provided: No#J-*****-Ljbffr
