Junior Bookkeeper for Accounting Firm, Remote Salary: USD $1,300 to $1,700 per month Full-time contractor Location: Remote Higher Options is looking for a Junior Bookkeeper to support the day-to-day bookkeeping operations of a growing accounting firm.
This role is adecuado for someone with 1 to 2 years of bookkeeping or accounting support experience who is detail-oriented, organized, and eager to grow.
What matters most is accuracy, reliability, and a solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
You will help keep financial records clean and up to date while working with tools like QuickBooks Online, Xero, Excel, and cloud-based systems.
Assist with bank and credit card reconciliations.
Support accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks.
Support month-end bookkeeping tasks under the guidance of senior team members.
Follow internal processes, checklists, and bookkeeping best practices.
1 to 2 years of bookkeeping, accounting assistant, or finance support experience.




~ Basic understanding of bookkeeping principles, reconciliations, invoices, bills, and expense categorization.
~ Experience with QuickBooks Online, Xero, Zoho Books, or similar accounting software.
~ Good Excel or Google Sheets skills.
~ Advanced English, C1.
~ Ability to work remotely and overlap with U.S. accounting practices.
Experience in an accounting firm or multi-client environment.
QuickBooks Online training or certification.
Basic knowledge of payroll, sales tax, or tax season documentation.
