Product & Operations Manager
About Our Client
Our client is a fully-remote video production agency serving B2B revenue teams across the US, Canada, and Latin America, helping companies build trust with their customers through high-quality video content.
They're creating a new role: Product & Operations Manager. This person will be the connective tissue between departments — the one who surfaces friction, prioritizes what matters, and champions the initiatives that make the business run efficiently and delight customers. This is the person who owns the question of how to make the company better, and then relentlessly drives the answer forward.
You'll work directly with the Director of Product & Operations and have visibility across every department. Your decisions will directly shape how the operating system evolves, how teams work, and how clients are served.
Responsibilities
Discovery & Roadmap Prioritization
Conduct regular structured meetings with every department to surface pain points, inefficiencies, and unmet needs
Gather client feedback and lead discovery calls
Synthesize findings into a clear, ranked backlog of improvement opportunities across product, processes, and workflows
Own the prioritization framework — balancing impact, effort, and business urgency — and keep it current as the business evolves
Maintain a live view of what's in progress, what's coming, and what's shipped
Product & Process Optimization
Translate problems into clear, well-structured feature requests and process improvement proposals
Create wireframes, prototypes, and workflow diagrams using AI tools to communicate solutions before they go to development
Write unambiguous specs that developers can act on with minimal back-and-forth
Partner with the development team to ensure implementations land as intended; own QA and validation
Over time, take on the implementation of simpler improvements independently,
with developer oversight
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Be a trusted partner to every team
Run efficient feedback loops: collect, distill, communicate back
Keep stakeholders informed on the status of initiatives that affect their workflows
Proactively flag interdependencies and risks before they become blockers
AI-First Ways of Working
Use AI tools as a daily force multiplier — for research, prototyping, documentation, analysis, and communication
Stay current on the AI landscape and surface relevant capabilities to the team
Help champion an AI-first mindset across the organization, supporting other teams in adopting smarter workflows
Requirements
2+ years of experience in Product Management, Operations, or a similar cross-functional role
Strong written and verbal English — you'll be communicating daily with a distributed, international team
First-principles, hypothesis-driven problem solver — you reason from root causes, design ways to test solutions, and iterate based on what you learn
Systems thinker — you can zoom from a specific issue out to the bigger picture, and you fix root causes rather than symptoms
Strong prioritization skills — comfortable making hard calls about which initiatives move forward and which wait, and explaining the reasoning to stakeholders
Experience working cross-functionally with multiple teams or stakeholders
High AI fluency — you actively use AI tools in your work and can show real examples
Structured thinker and clear written communicator — you can turn a messy conversation into a clear action plan
Nice to Have
Background in Product, Project, or Implementation Management, or as a Solutions Consultant
Working knowledge of UI/UX principles and how to deliver value through a platform
Experience with no-code or low-code tools such as Airtable, Bubble, Zapier, or N8N
