We are searching for a
Community Moderation Specialist
to join our driven team.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing and resolving moderation and user support tickets, with a focus on Discord channel moderation. The adecuado candidate will have hands-on experience with Discord, whether from professional or personal use, and be comfortable working independently, driving moderation processes, and providing coverage for senior team members when needed.
Respond to user-reported moderation issues through Zendesk and public forum posts Take appropriate action on content and users who breach community guidelines Monitor user feedback and community interactions to help ensure a positive platform experience Identify and communicate emerging trends, recurring issues,



or notable themes within the community Triage and escalate feedback to engineering and product teams using Slack or Mattermost 3+ years of experience in a community moderation or user support role Experience moderating and managing a Discord server Strong ability to work independently and manage tasks without close supervision Background in moderating or supporting online discussion forums Proficiency with help desk platforms such as Zendesk, Freshdesk, Google Cases, or Salesforce Service Cloud Excellent written English communication skills (C1 level or higher), with the ability to convey information clearly and empathetically to both technical and non-technical audiences Interest in data science and its applications Experience using automated tools or bots to manage Discord communities Previous experience working remotely as part of a collaborative team Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
