Your future role
You'll ensure production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are met while delivering fully functional trains to our customers on time. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business, manage a production team of 11 to 50 professionals, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes and performance, and much more."
We’ll look to you for:
- Managing a production team, including monitoring and controlling production on a shift-by-shift basis.
- Defining and delegating accountability for production tasks.
- Identifying staffing requirements to ensure flexibility and high levels of productivity.
- Driving organizational change to optimize working practices and maintain a productive workforce.
- Identifying training and resource needs to facilitate effective production.
- Ensuring all production meets safety and quality requirements as per internal standards and customer specifications.
- Monitoring working practices and the environment to ensure compliance with mandatory and statutory requirements.
- Minimizing depot-operating costs and maximizing efficiency through effective resource planning and overtime control.
- Reviewing work plans to meet daily production targets and analyzing failures to achieve them.
- Proactively identifying and implementing areas for continuous improvement in processes and operations.
