Area Sales Manager – Aftermarket

Location: Mexico – Remote

Cities: Mexico City, Monterrey, or Tampico/Tamaulipas

Type: Direct Hire | Full-Time

The position focuses on growing IMI's industrial sales portfolio across control valves, severe-service valves, choke valves, steam conditioning systems, actuators, HIPPS, isolation valves, and pressure relief valves.

You would own the full sales cycle, develop new accounts, manage strategic customer relationships, influence technical specifications, and build business with end users, EPCs, OEMs, engineering firms, and industrial partners.

The key markets include Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power Generation, Mining, Water Treatment, Pulp & Paper, and other process industries.

In the Mexico market, this role additionally requires a high degree of autonomy, judgment and resilience, operating in environments of high ambiguity, aggressive customers, strong price pressure and limited structural support. The role demands full ownership of the sales cycle and non-negotiable ethical consistency.

Account Management Responsibilities
- Visit customers regularly to strengthen relationships and expand contacts.
- Educate decision makers to become advocates for IMI solutions.
- Develop new accounts and expand IMI presence in vendor lists.
- Influence technical specifications and evaluation criteria in favor of IMI.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet or exceed targets.
- Operate independently in ambiguou
