Role Description The Maintenance Mechanic role at SG GROUP is a full-time, remote position focused on supporting industrial equipment used in heavy hauling, rigging, and related operations.



Day-to-day responsibilities include performing routine inspections, diagnosing mechanical issues, and carrying out repairs on various machinery and systems to ensure optimal performance and safety. The Maintenance Mechanic will conduct preventive and corrective maintenance, document work performed, and coordinate with operational teams to minimize downtime. The role also involves following company safety standards, interpreting technical manuals and schematics, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support equipment reliability and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Strong equipment maintenance skills, including Maintenance & Repair and Industrial Maintenance for machinery and related systems.
Experience in Preventive Maintenance, with the ability to develop and follow maintenance schedules to reduce equipment failures.
Background in Corrective Maintenance, including troubleshooting
