Position SummaryThe SFA (Special Feature Authorization) Electrical Engineer will contribute to the design and release of customizations to chillers; will work in a cross-functional development group; managing a variety of tasks and activities are required in this dynamic environment; solve complex problems where no precedence exists.o precedence exists.ResponsibilitiesCreate and revise unit wiring schematics and network connection drawingsCreate and review electric panel layouts following relevant codes and standardsCreate and revise wire harnessesCheck and approve drawings and bill of materialsWork with software team to develop and verify CRAC system controlsWork with development scientist to validate setup of new electrical customizationsParticipate in identification of cost reduction opportunities and in the design and development of cost reduction changesImplement product changes to solve field issues, support service departmentQualificationsMinimum Job QualificationsMinimum 2-4 years of experience in an electrical engineering field.Ability to work and multi-task in a fast-paced environment independently and as a member of a dynamic team; offer and receive constructive criticismAbility to mentor and guide less experienced team membersDemonstrated history of delivering quality products to market with understanding and respect for phases of the product development processExcellent project management skills and communication skills, both written and verbalProficient in 3D CAD software, preferred CREO 4.0 and greaterKnowledge of NEC (NFPA79), IEEE 519, UL 508A SBPreferred QualificationsPreferred 4-8 years of experience in an HVAC related electrical engineering field:
