The Country EHS Leader, Mexico & LATAM Regional LeadThe Country EHS Leader, Mexico & LATAM Regional Lead owns environmental, health, and safety performance for Dematic's operations and project sites in Mexico and extends EHS oversight to Dematic project sites across Latin America.
This role combines steady-state regulatory and compliance ownership in Mexico with project-based EHS support across the broader region, reporting directly to the Regional Leader, Americas.

and inspection readinessServe as primary point of contact for Mexican labor and safety authoritiesMaintain up-to-date knowledge of Mexican EHS regulatory requirements and ensure site-level complianceRegional Project EHS Oversight (LATAM)Provide EHS oversight and support across Dematic project sites throughout Latin AmericaCoordinate with local EHS partners/consultants in non-Spanish-speaking markets (e.g., Brazil) where direct regulatory command requires local expertiseSupport project teams during active build-out phases with site-specific EHS planningIncident ManagementLead incident investigation and root cause analysis for Mexico and LATAM project sitesOwn emergency response planning per siteEscalate significant incidents to the Regional Leader, Americas per agreed protocolMetrics & ReportingOwn EHS metrics tracking and reporting (EMR, TRIR, DART, OTIF-related safety metrics) across Mexico and LATAM projectsDeliver regular performance reporting to the Regional Leader, AmericasTranslate EHS data into cost/risk justification for executive audiences as neededStandards & TrainingDraft EHS methodology, audit cadence, and incident-reporting protocols for sign-off by the Regional Leader, AmericasDesign and deliver training programs: onboarding, contractor safety orientation,



toolbox talksSchedule and execute internal EHS audits; prepare sites for client/customer safety audits (relevant for large-scale DC and automation projects with customer-driven safety diligence)Contractor & Site ManagementVet and manage EHS compliance of contractors and subcontractors on project sitesServe as the EHS point of contact for client EHS teams during project executionWhat we are looking for:Fluent Spanish and English (required); Portuguese a plus given regional scopeDemonstrated experience in EHS leadership within industrial, logistics, or material handling/distribution center environmentsWorking knowledge of Mexican labor and safety regulatory frameworks (STPS, NOM standards)Experience managing EHS across multi-site or multi-country project portfoliosStrong data fluency - able to build and present EHS metrics (EMR, TRIR, DART) for executive stakeholdersKION-mærker holder verden kørende – globalt, regionalt og lokalt.
