We're Hiring: Senior Interior Designer | Commercial Contract FurnitureWeCollabify is looking for an experiencedInterior Designer / Commercial Contract Furniture Designerto support a U.S.-based client working acrossFederal Government, State Government, Military, Education, and Commercial sectors.This is aproduction-focused design rolefor someone who can independently translate site information, client requirements, and manufacturer specifications into accurate, functional, and presentation-ready furniture layouts.What we're looking for:8–10+ years of professional experiencein Interior Design, Commercial Interiors, Workplace Design, or Contract Furniture.Proven experience working on U.S.-based projects is required.English C1 or higherwith strong professional communication skills.Experience withcommercial office environments, government facilities, workspace planning, furniture layouts, cubicles, conference rooms, and lounge areas.CET Commercial Interiors experience is highly preferred.Strong contract furniture professionals without CET experience may also be considered if they canlearn CET quickly.Ability to produce2D plans, 3D layouts, renderings,



and furniture specifications.Experience selecting and configuring products frommanufacturer furniture catalogs.Strong understanding of practical layout considerations, includingegress, power availability, measurements, furniture fit, access constraints, and space planning.Ability to work with minimal supervision, take ownership of deliverables, and respond quickly to revisions.Detail-oriented, proactive, reliable, collaborative, and interested in growing with a long-term team.The idóneo candidate combinesstrong design judgment with technical accuracy and speed.
You should be comfortable taking a project from site measurements, photos, videos, and customer requirements through completed furniture layouts and visual deliverables while identifying potential issues before they become problems.If you have strong experience incommercial interiors or contract furniture designand are ready to take ownership of design production for a growing U.S. company, we'd love to hear from you.
