About the RoleAct as a local knowledge hub and provide technical support on material-related questions. Develop and improve new and existing materials by performing materials characterization and product analysis. Support design, quality, and manufacturing departments.
ResponsibilitiesSupport exploration and validation of materials and related manufacturing technologiesTo develop and improve materials and related manufacturing processesTo collaborate with PTD team to support technical developmentsTo follow the development of internal and customer projects, by actively participate as project team memberTo perform advanced material characterization and testing according to procedures and specificationsTo support manufacturing units to solve quality issues,
reduce scrap and improve productivity (OEE)To manage material suppliers related to quality level and improvement activities (in collaboration with quality department)To operate and perform maintenance of laboratory equipmentTo create technical training packagesTo train, supervise, support and coach technicians and traineesTo contribute to the development of the department personnel through company processes or direct feedback
QualificationsUniversity degree (chemistry, material engineering or similar)Valid VISA & PassportAvailability to travel (training in the USA)English level: Advance (Direct report to USA)
Required SkillsIn depth knowledge of sealing materials (thermoplastic elastomers, rubbers, high performance plastics)Experience in research, technology & product development
