About The Role

The Business Transformation group within Corporate Finance is comprised of the following specialties: Go to Market Transformation, Retail & Consumer Services, Financial Services, Supply Chain & Logistics, and Energy & Industrials. Each of these sub‑teams works alongside clients to drive revenue growth and optimize cost efficiencies and operations.

Our consultants support engagement teams across all specialties and collaborate with clients on a day‑to‑day basis. Tasks range from delivering analytics to assess a client’s current state, to supporting creation and delivery of solutions and implementation plans.

Our team consists of experienced professionals from industry and consulting, providing services such as SG&A; cost reduction, business plan review, direct procurement costing, inventory optimization, customer and channel profitability, customer experience, revenue strategy, marketing and sales effectiveness, and labor and operations optimization. This role offers growth, training, coaching, and opportunities to contribute to team building and thought‑leadership.

What You’ll Do

- Manage day‑to‑day activities of projects, coordinating with team members, external professionals, and client personnel.
- Apply business, operational, finance, and analytical skills to various client situations and practice disciplines (e.g., financial modeling, comparable company analysis, projections review, claims analysis, operational due diligence).
- Perform analyses using a top‑down hypothesis framework, leading to actionable road maps and implementation plans.
- Work in ambiguity to develop hypotheses and strategic observations that ground objectives and plans.
- Use advanced analytical tools to synthesize, summarize,



and derive insights from vast amounts of often unstructured data.
- Maintain detailed working records reflecting assumptions, methodologies, and information sources used.
- Ensure quality of deliverables and meet established timeframes.
- Prepare Power Point presentations and quantitative exhibits for third parties on project scope, findings, and results.
- Research, organize, and facilitate effective data access and analysis.

Basic Qualifications

- 1+ years relevant post‑graduate experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, engineering, or another quantitative field.
- Fluency in English and Spanish, written and spoken.
- Ability to travel to clients and FTI offices as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

- Excellent analytical skills, with proven experience in data cleansing, building models, distilling insights, and crafting recommendations.
- Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Power Point.
- Experience with tools such as Power BI, Excel VBA, Think‑Cell, Tableau, or other business analytics tools.
