Top Notch Roofing is a family-owned, GAF Master Elite certified company serving Chilliwack and the Fraser Valley for nearly 30 years. We are a trusted, award-winning team with a reputation for quality workmanship and reliability. We are looking for experienced Roofers currently residing in Mexico who are interested in relocating to British Columbia, Canada, for full-time employment.
We support qualified candidates through the LMIA and work permit process.
What You'll Do
Install or replace asphalt shingles, wood shingles and shakes, and masonry or baked clay roofing tiles on sloped roofs
Install and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools
Install sheet metal flashings
Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms
Instruct apprentices
Follow company and jobsite safety procedures
What You Bring
Minimum 3 years of verifiable professional roofing experience
Completed secondary/high school education
Valid passport
Experience installing asphalt shingles on sloped roofs
Experience installing and repairing metal roofing
Experience installing sheet metal flashings
Experience using roofing hand and power tools
Experience working safely at heights
Comfortable working with scaffolding and other working platforms
Physically able to perform roofing work (lifting, bending, kneeling, climbing)
Able to lift and handle roofing materials of approximately 50 lbs / 23 kg
Able to work outdoors in different weather conditions
Able to follow company and jobsite safety procedures
Sufficient English communication skills to understand work instructions and safety requirements
Willing to relocate to British Columbia, Canada
Able to meet Canadian immigration and work permit requirements

Proof of secondary/high school education
Employment letters or other documents verifying previous roofing experience

Roofing, construction, safety, or trade certificates (if applicable)
Previous employment and roofing experience must be verifiable.
Immigration Information:
Once a candidate has been selected, additional documents or steps may be required as part of the Canadian work permit process, including:
Biometrics
Police/criminal record documentation (if requested)
Immigration medical examination (if required)
Additional documentation requested by Canadian immigration authorities
The employer will support the selected candidate through the applicable Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) process.
A positive LMIA does not guarantee a work permit. Final authorization to enter and work in Canada is determined by Canadian immigration authorities.
