Purpose

- Lead the accounting, tax, and accounts payable function
- Ensure the reliability of financial information
- Guarantee tax compliance in Mexico
- Direct interaction with international corporate office

Main Responsibilities

- Monthly accounting close and preparation of financial statements
- Compliance with tax obligations (VAT, income tax, withholdings)
- Supervision of accounts payable and cash flow
- Financial reporting to international corporate office
- Implementation of controls and process improvements

Key Performance Indicators

- Compliance with accounting close
- Financial accuracy

- Issuance of financial statements in accordance with Corporate Policies

Profile

- Bachelor’s degree in Public Accounting (with professional license)




- IMCP Certified Public Accountant (preferred)
- 6 to 10 years of experience in similar position handling accounting, taxes, and closings
- Experience in multinational companies and reporting to corporate office
- Team leadership
- Knowledge of Mexican Financial Reporting Standards (NIF), IFRS, taxes, ERP (SAP), and Excel
- Knowledge and experience in SOX regulations
- Fluent in English
