Our Client is a growing company supporting consumer brands with their accounting and financial operations. As the business continues to grow, they are expanding their accounting team and looking for experienced professionals who understand the unique financial and operational needs of consumer-focused businesses.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on accounting experience within CPG, food, beauty, healthcare, apparel, health & wellness, or other consumer brands , particularly in environments involving inventory, retail, and/or direct-to-consumer sales.

Overview
We are looking for an experienced Junior Controller to join our Client's growing accounting team.
This role is idóneo for someone with 6–15 years of accounting experience who has worked directly with consumer brands and understands inventory-driven accounting environments.
This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports or people management responsibilities.
QuickBooks Online experience is a must-have. Candidates should also be comfortable working with inventory and sales-related systems and reconciling data across different platforms.
English proficiency is flexible at the time of hire. However, candidates should be able to communicate internally and have a strong desire to continue developing their English, as English is the company's primary working language.

Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day accounting activities for consumer brand businesses.
Perform inventory reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
Reconcile Shopify, point-of-sale, and other sales platforms with accounting records.
Work with inventory management systems and similar operational tools.
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve accounting discrepancies independently.
Perform account reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
Support month-end close and other accounting processes.
Analyze transactions and identify potential issues or inconsistencies.




Collaborate with internal teams to investigate and resolve financial and operational discrepancies.
Use accounting and technology tools efficiently to improve processes and workflows.
Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to the team.

Requirements
6–15 years of professional accounting experience .
Strong experience working with QuickBooks Online — must-have . Including advanced bank feed and clearing account logic.
Previous experience working for a consumer brand / CPG company .
Experience in one or more of the following industries:
Food & Beverage
Beauty / Cosmetics
Healthcare / Consumer Health
Apparel / Fashion
Health & Wellness
Other consumer products sold through retail or direct-to-consumer channels
Hands-on experience with inventory accounting and reconciliations .
English proficiency can be flexible, but candidates must be able to communicate internally and demonstrate a clear commitment to improving their English.
This is an individual contributor position; no people management or direct reports are required.

Nice to Have
Experience with Shopify .
Experience with Cin7 or similar inventory management systems .
Experience reconciling Shopify sales.
Experience working with U.S.-based consumer brands.
Experience with multiple sales channels, including DTC, retail, and e-commerce .
Experience with point-of-sale reconciliation.
Experience using AI tools to support written communication and day-to-day work.
Previous experience working in a fast-growing consumer brand environment.
