Key Responsibilities
Partner with data teams tooperationalizeanalytics solutionsand unlock business value.
Automate and standardizeworkflows developed by data scientists.




Leverage Dev Ops to create end-to-end streamlinedata appsand pipelines.
Review and managedata pipelines , branching, and deployment process.
Work with partners on requirements and implementationdesigns of data solutions.
Implementdata qualityframework at scale using open-source technologies.
Createdata monitoring dashboardswith real-time notifications.
UnderstandVisa Net data and platform ecosystemto deploy fully automatic data applications.
Unifydata engineeringandmachine learning engineeringpipelines.
Applyspark optimization techniquesto production jobs to accelerate data prep.
Document process, designs, test results, and analysis incollaborative platforms.
Ability toarticulate complex architecturesto non-technical audiences, management, and leadership.
Continuously research industrybest practicesandtechnologies.
Evangelize end to end automationand standardization across the organization.
Partner with functional areas, and regional and integral teams to leverage the breadth and depth of Visa's resources.This is a hybrid position.

• 2+ years of relevant work experience and a Bachelors degree, OR 5+ years of relevant work experience
Preferred Qualifications
• 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
• Minimum of bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Qualification in Data Analytics, Data Engineering, or Computer Science.




• Total 3+ years of experience being data scientist/engineer or analytics consultant.
• Experience with complex, high volume, multi-dimensional data.
• Experience in financial services, or technology industries.
Strong interest in the future of payments is a must.
• Outstanding problem-solving skills, with demonstrated ability to think creatively and tactically.
• Demonstrate curiosity, self-motivated, and result oriented, with the ability to managed multiple projects.
• Ability to learn new technology and paradigms as our industry continues to evolve at Visa and everywhere.
• Strong technical competency and experience with shell-scripting and Linux systems.
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline using Azure Dev Ops, Git Hub actions, Jenkins, or Airflow.
• Strong coding skills in Spark, Python and SQL to manipulate big data in distributed platforms.
• Leverage Generative and Agentic AI and utilize REST APIs to connect data applications across the Visa ecosystem.
• Demonstrate experience leveraging open-source tools, libraries, and platforms.
• Experience with visualization tools, such as advanced user of Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
• Problem solving ability and process creator with strategic focus on replicability, scalability, innovation, and governance.
• Proficient with git for version control and code collaboration following software development best practices.
• Must be passionate about automation and data and able to deliver high quality work.
• Good understanding of Agile way of working, tools such as JIRA and practical experience of working in Agile teams.
• Fluency in English (spoken/written).
Portuguese or Spanish is a plus.
• Experience of cloud-based data platforms will be an added advantage.
