Based in our Polanco office in Mexico City and working closely with our US operations, this is a hands-on leadership role at the intersection of people strategy and day-to-day execution — idóneo for a bilingual HR professional who is equally comfortable advising executives, developing policy, and rolling up their sleeves to solve everyday people challenges.You will lead our HR team of three and report directly to our US-based CEO, with real ownership of the HR function and a direct line to senior leadership on both sides of the border.Core ResponsibilitiesPartner with managers to identify staffing needs and own full-cycle recruiting — sourcing, interviewing, offers, and onboardingAdminister and continuously improve compensation, benefits, payroll, and performance management systemsOwn employee relations and retention — serving as the first point of contact for workplace concerns, conducting exit interviews, and turning what you learn into actionEnsure compliance with all applicable Mexican and US employment laws and regulations, maintaining accurate personnel records and required documentationDesign and coordinate employee training and development programs aligned with organizational goalsTrack key people metrics — turnover, hiring, engagement — and use them to inform recommendations to leadershipLead, direct, and develop the members of our HR teamPartner with senior leadership as a strategic advisor on workforce planning, organizational policy, HR budgets, and diversity and inclusion practicesWhat We're Looking ForYou lead with integrity, communicate with clarity at every level of the organization,

You're a strategic thinker who also knows how to get things done — someone who can navigate nuanced employee situations with discretion while never losing sight of the bigger picture.You're equally at home in both languages and both business cultures — comfortable coaching an employee in the morning and briefing US leadership in the afternoon.QualificationsRequired:Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience5+ years of progressive HR experience, including demonstrated success implementing HR strategies, recruiting, and payroll administration across Mexico and US operationsDeep knowledge of Mexican labor law and statutory requirements (LFT, IMSS), plus working knowledge of US federal and state employment lawAdvanced English proficiency (written and verbal)Experience leading an HR team or managing HR professionalsProficiency in Microsoft Office and common workplace systemsPreferred:Master's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Leadership, or a related fieldSHRM-CP/SCP, PHR/SPHR, or GPHR certificationHands-on experience with HRIS, payroll, and benefits enrollment platformsExperience designing compensation structures — salary benchmarking, pay bands, or incentive plansFamiliarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruiting metricsBenefitsCompetitive salary, commensurate with experienceBenefits above statutory requirements, including grocery vouchers (vales de despensa) equal to 10% of salary upon permanent contractStructured onboarding, including training with our US teamGrowth path toward senior HR leadership as the company scalesHow to ApplyPlease submit your resume in English.
