The Role:
We are seeking a Looker Data Engineer for a project-based assignment to support a key client initiative.
This role will focus on building and optimizing data models, developing scalable reporting solutions, and enabling data-driven decision-making through Looker and modern data stack technologies.
The idóneo candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Looker development, data modeling, and programmatic reporting, along with a solid foundation in SQL and cloud data platforms.
Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain Looker data models, including Look ML, models, and exploresBuild and optimize scalable,



consumable data models to support business intelligence and strategic decision-makingUtilize Looker API 4.0 to enable programmatic access to dashboards, looks, and exploresAutomate report generation and delivery using Looker API endpointsWrite and optimize complex SQL queries to improve performance and efficiencyWork with Snowflake, dbt, and Python to support data transformation and pipeline developmentCollaborate with stakeholders to translate data requirements into scalable BI solutionsEnsure data accuracy, consistency, and performance across reporting layersRequired Skills:3+ years Looker development experience (Look ML, models, explores)Experience working with Looker API 4.0 for programmatic accessExperience automating reporting using Looker API endpointsAbility to transform complex data into scalable, consumable data modelsHands-on experience with Snowflake, dbt, and Python2+ years SQL experience with query optimizationNice to Have:Looker administration experienceExperience working with Big QueryExperience with modern data pipelines and ELT workflowsFamiliarity with data governance, data quality, or BI best practicesExperience working in a client-facing or consulting environmentEmployment Type:Contract#LI-Remote
