Now, let's discuss this role and what you will do to help achieve Fever's mission.About the RoleWe're looking for a curious, hands-on IT Specialist to join our lean IT team.
This isn't a traditional helpdesk role — we want someone who sees a repetitive task and instinctively thinks "I could automate that".
You'll be responsible for keeping our systems running, managing access and devices across a mostly mac OS environment, and contributing to internal tooling projects — including AI-assisted development with tools like Claude Code.One of our previous IT team members progressed into our SRE team.
We see this role as a genuine launchpad for ambitious engineers who want to grow into infrastructure, reliability,



or platform engineering.What You'll DoManage mac OS fleet via Kandji MDM — deployments, policies, and our custom Open VPN setupAct as the gatekeeper for access management — onboarding, offboarding, SSO, and permissionsSupport Slack and Jira-based IT requests, triage issues, and resolve them efficientlyMaintain and administer self-hosted infrastructure — firewalls, switches, and internal servicesWrite scripts and lightweight tooling to automate common requests and reduce toilCollaborate with our SRE team on infrastructure awareness and escalationsDocument runbooks, processes, and internal guides clearly and consistentlyOccasionally support Windows and Linux users alongside our primary mac OS environmentWhat We're Looking ForCore IT skillsSolid mac OS administration experience — you know the OS, not just the UILinux comfort — enough to SSH in, read logs, and not panicExperience with MDM tools (Kandji, Jamf, or similar)Identity and access management — Okta, Google Workspace, SSO basicsScripting & automationScripts & automation — you don't need to be a software engineer, but you should be comfortable writing and maintaining scripts helping with daily tasksGit basics — version control your work, not just save to DesktopCuriosity about AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, Copilot,
