Position OverviewWe are seeking aSenior Electrical Engineerto lead the electrical design and architecture ofBattery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
This role is responsible for developing electrical distribution systems, protection schemes, and equipment integration for modular energy platforms that combine battery systems, inverters, transformers, and monitoring infrastructure.
The engineer will collaborate closely with mechanical, manufacturing, and integration teams to deliver production-ready systems.Requirements
Design electrical architectures for BESS platforms includingAC and DC power distribution systems.
Developsingle line diagrams, wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, and cable schedules.
Integrate battery systems,battery management systems (BMS), PCS inverters, transformers, and switchgear.
Definegrounding strategies, protection schemes, and isolation methodsfor high-power electrical systems.
Developmonitoring, alarm, and shutdown logicto ensure safe and reliable battery operation.
Coordinate electrical design withmechanical layouts and enclosure constraints.
Supportcommissioning,



factory acceptance testing (FAT), and troubleshootingof energy storage systems.
Produceproduction-ready electrical documentationsupporting manufacturing and system integration.
Required QualificationsBachelor's degree inElectrical Engineering.
8+ years of experiencedesigning industrial electrical systems or power infrastructure.
Experience withpower distribution systems, protection systems, and electrical schematics.
Experience integrating equipment such asinverters, transformers, switchgear, or energy storage systems.
Strong experience developingtechnical documentation for engineering and manufacturing.
Preferred QualificationsExperience working withBattery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)ormicrogrid power systems.
Familiarity withUL ****, UL ****, or similar energy storage safety standards.
Experience integratingSCADA, EMS, or energy monitoring systems.
Previous experience supportingrenewable energy, data center power infrastructure, or large industrial power systems.
