Job DescriptionThe role is based in South America and it would be beneficial if the candidate can speak Spanish but should be fluent in English.
REQUIREMENTS:
·The adecuado candidate will preferably have aMsc Degreein Geologywith
·At least 10 to 15 years of experience.
·Experience inepithermal gold and silver as well as in Polymetallic gold and silver systems.
·Deep mine experience looking after a range of services including 4 u/g drills, grade control, surface drills etc.
·Extensive experience as a mine geologist to advise and lead the team on the mine.
·Provide exploration geology advice to mine management establishing an extensive drilling plan in order to provide expert opinions on the where and when to be included in the mining plan.
·Will beresponsible for identifying and assessing the location, quantity and quality of mineral deposits.
·Fluent in English,

THE CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING HANDS ON SKILLS:
·Knowledge of a range of sciences and their applications
·Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team of scientists and engineers
·Good organisational skills
·Computer literacy and ability to analyse numerical and graphical data
·Good written and verbal communication skills
·Geological mapping, rock recognition, structural geology, knowledge of geochemistry and geophysics, GIS, etc.
·Have demonstrated experience in economic geology.
