# Senior Bench Test Engineer u**** Job Description
General Summary
The Senior Bench Test Engineer leads the development, automation, and execution of advanced benchu****level test solutions for RF and mixedu****signal hardware.
This role requires extensive handsu****on experience in RF measurements, strong software development capabilities, and the ability to architect robust test methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
\- Lead the development of advanced benchu****level test plans for RF, mixedu****signal.
\- Implement automated test using C#, Lab View, Python.
\- Perform complex RF characterization including EVM, ACLR, Gain, Noise Figure, IP3, Phase Noise, and Su****parameters.
\- Set up and operate RF equipment: Spectrum Analyzers, VNAs, Signal Generators, Oscilloscopes, and Power Meters.
\- Lead debug efforts for test failures, instrumentation issues, and RF board problems.
\- Develop advanced data analysis tools and automated result processing scripts.
\- Collaborate with RF Design, Validation, and Product Engineering teams.
Minimum Qualifications
\- Bacheloru****s degree in electrical engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field.
\- 5+ years of handsu****on RF and bench testing experience.
\- Expertise on test automation.




\- Strong understanding of RF measurement science.
\- Ability to interpret schematics, PCB layouts, and systemu****level hardware documents.
Preferred Qualifications
\- Masteru****s degree in RF, Electrical, Electronics Engineering, or related discipline.
\- 5+ years in RF bench testing or validation.
\- Experience with SCPI, VISA, and automated instrument control.
\- Familiarity with LTE, 5 G NR, GSM/EDGE, WCDMA, WLAN, Bluetooth, and GPS standards.
\- Knowledge of RF PCB design basics.
Physical Requirements
\- Ability to work at a test bench for extended periods.
\- Ability to lift and install lab equipment up to 5 lbs.
\- Ability to move between labs and offices as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
u**** Bacheloru****s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
OR
Masteru****s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
OR
Ph D in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field.
