Responsibilities:
Develop and maintainbackend applications usingJava 17+(with a mindset for future versions like Java 25).
Architect and buildservices usingSpring Framework and Spring Boot.




Design and implement REST APIsto ensure high-performance communication between services.
Manage data persistenceusingJPA and Hibernateacross various databases ( Oracle, DB2, My SQL ).
Oversee version controlusingGitand implement robustlog and error managementpractices.
Integrate backend serviceswith modern frontend frameworks such asReact or Angular.
Requirements:
Proven experience in application modernization , specifically transitioning existing applications to a modern architecture based onSpring Boot and Java 17+.
Minimum of 3 years of experiencewithin theBanking/Financial industry.
Strong technical background inJava 17+and theSpring ecosystem.
Expertise inrelational databases(Oracle, DB2, My SQL).
Desired:
Legacy migration experience(transitioning from Java EE, JSF, Struts, etc.).
Implementation ofSpring SecurityusingJWT and OAuth2.
Hands-on experience withKubernetes platformssuch asAnthos or GKE.
