About the RoleTransplace, an Uber Freight company, is looking for experienced customer service and logistics professionals to join our Brokerage team in Monterrey.This role is also a great opportunity for recent graduates or individuals looking to build and develop their career in logistics, transportation, or supply chain.In this role, you will be part of a high-performing team that supports a portfolio of40+ customers , ensuring freight is moved efficiently, cost-effectively, and with the right carrier capacity in place.
You will play a key role in balancing service, cost, and capacity while helping customers achieve reliable and optimized transportation outcomes.This is a fast-paced, high-impact environment where you will gain exposure to end-to-end transportation operations across import, export, and U. S. domestic freight.Location:Monterrey, MX (Hybrid – 3 days in office / 2 days remote)Work Schedule:Evening shift:4:00 PM – 12:00 AMRotational schedule including weekends2 days off per week(rotational)This schedule supports our customers' operational needs while offering flexibility through rotating days off.What the Candidate Will DoSecure carrier capacity for assigned loads and customer shipmentsCommunicate with carriers to influence capacity during tight market conditionsMonitor shipments from pickup through delivery, ensuring on-time performanceUpdate shipment status in the system (pickup, in transit, delivered, empty, etc.)Communicate proactively with shippers and receivers regarding shipment status changesReschedule appointments when needed to ensure service continuityBuild and maintain strong relationships with carriers, shippers,



and receiversManage detention and expedite approvals when requiredNegotiate rates with carriers and customers for spot shipmentsTrain customers and carriers on TMS tools and workflowsIdentify performance trends across carriers and customers and recommend improvementsSupport shipment coordination across multiple nodes (shipper, cross-dock, DC, store)Assist in onboarding new customers, vendors, and receiversCreate and maintain SOPs and internal process documentationDemonstrate ownership of assigned accounts and business segmentsBasic Qualifications1+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, or customer serviceBachelor's degree requiredStrong negotiation and communication skillsIntermediate to Advanced proficiency in Spanish and English (written, verbal, and presentation skills)Proficient in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, advanced formulas)Preferred Qualifications3+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, or customer serviceUnderstanding of freight and transportation operations (import/export and domestic)Experience with reporting and analytics (BI tools, data validation, insights)Strong Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, advanced formulas)SAP experience is a plusAbout Uber FreightUber Freight helps companies move goods more reliably and efficiently.
