TheBrand Payments Associateplays a key role in managing and supporting essential processes within the Brand Payments function.
Serving as the first point of contact for Brand Payments Associates, this role provides guidance, escalates issues to the Team Lead, and ensures operational efficiency.This position requires strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a proactive mindset.
Core responsibilities include preparing and approving remittance reports, responding to brand inquiries via Zendesk, and supporting a wide range of payment and operational activities.
The Brand Payment Associate will also collaborate with the Team Lead on special projects, process improvements, and system enhancements—making flexibility and openness to new tools essential.Key ResponsibilitiesReconcile and analyze retailer payments due to brands,



ensuring accuracy and compliance with contractual terms.Manage Zendesk tickets by responding to brand inquiries promptly and accurately.Support day-to-day operations, including:Verifying the status of orders, invoices, and paymentsProcessing fee adjustment requests and conducting research with both internal and external partnersCreating and maintaining files for brand order analysisParticipate in and occasionally lead calls with brand partners.Collaborate with the Team Lead on special projects, process enhancements, and system improvements.Stay adaptable and open to learning new tools and systems as business needs evolve.Requirements1–2 years of experience in accounting, finance operations, or a related fieldProficiency with financial systems; experience with Quick Books is a plusStrong analytical and troubleshooting skills, particularly in payment and reconciliationExceptional attention to detail and a continuous improvement mindsetExcellent verbal and written communication skills in EnglishStrong time management and organizational skills in a fast-paced environmentBachelor's degree in Business or a related field preferredEnthusiasm and ability to learn new software and adapt to evolving processesKey SkillsAnalytical thinking and problem-solvingHigh attention to detailProactivity and autonomyTime management and prioritizationEffective written and verbal communicationTeam collaboration and mentorshipFlexibility and adaptabilityLeadership qualitiesAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environmentCompliance/Regulation Experience: Nabis's core business is focused on cannabis compliance (track n trace).
