About the Role
We are looking for a Sr. Accounting Analyst to join our Finance & Accounting team and take ownership of accounting operations across assigned entities and portfolios.
This role goes beyond transactional accounting. You will play a key role in the month-end close process, account reconciliations, financial reporting, and Mexican regulatory compliance, while also serving as a technical reference for junior team members.
The adecuado candidate combines strong accounting fundamentals with analytical thinking, attention to detail,
autonomy, and a continuous-improvement mindset. You will have the opportunity to identify control gaps, improve and automate accounting processes, and contribute to the accounting treatment of new financial products in a growing FinTech environment.
What You’ll Do
Accounting Operations
Manage, reconcile, and review assigned bank accounts on a daily and monthly basis, including complex reconciliation items.
Oversee and review accounts payable transactions and fixed assets.
Record and process payroll payments in coordination with HR and payroll teams.
Record collections, early payments, and pay-off transactions.
Perform portfolio-level reconciliations between the loan management system and the General Ledger.
Review journal entries prepared by junior analysts, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and proper documentation.
