Forward Deployed Engineer and Technical Lead
to modernize a supply chain logistics portal used to manage hardware shipments and visibility for clients. You will assess the current architecture, build high-impact features, and lead cross-regional delivery with clear technical direction. Apply to help drive measurable improvements.
Assess existing portal architecture and identify bottlenecks, UX friction points, and modernization opportunities Lead stakeholder discovery with client and internal teams to capture workflows and prioritize enhancements Architect scalable solutions for shipment tracking, order milestones, and logistics visibility Build and ship high-impact features using internal frameworks and UI platforms Define technical PRDs, user stories, and API specifications to enable distributed delivery Coordinate offshore development by delegating tasks, reviewing code,
and unblocking execution Establish development standards and delivery practices to scale the portal ecosystem in the US 7+ years of experience with Java in full-stack or backend development Experience in systems architecture or technical product engineering for enterprise web applications Proven leadership experience coordinating and unblocking offshore engineering teams Strong project execution skills translating business needs into PRDs, user stories, and API specifications Solid REST API design skills and secure cross-platform integration knowledge Strong communication skills for client-facing discovery and technical alignment English proficiency: B2 Upper-Intermediate Supply chain systems or order management systems domain knowledge Hardware logistics or B2B client portal experience Familiarity with Jetski or Partner Connect portal architectures Experience with event-driven architecture patterns Proficiency with TypeScript or JavaScript for web UI development
