What do we expect
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical Design Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Industrial Automation, or a related technical field;
3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role within manufacturing or automation environments, supported by a solid engineering background in automation, machinery, or industrial projects;
Strong commercial mindset with a customer-oriented approach, combined with technical-commercial insight and creative thinking;
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high sense of ownership and accountability;
Advanced English communication skills (written and spoken) and willingness to travel when required.

to join our team in Querétaro, Mexico.
Your role
As a Proposal Engineer, you will play a key role at the beginning of the sales process by transforming customer needs into winning machine concepts and technical proposals. You will combine your engineering expertise with commercial awareness to develop innovative, feasible, and competitive automation solutions.
Working closely with Sales, Project Management, and Cost Engineering teams, you will ensure that customer requirements are accurately translated into functional machine concepts, project specifications, cycle times, and cost-effective solutions. You will also present and defend your concepts to customers around the world and ensure a smooth handover of awarded projects to the execution team.
Key Responsibilities
Develop realistic and competitive machine concepts to support customer proposals and quotations.
Translate customer requirements into functional machine concepts, technical specifications, cycle times, and project scopes.
Evaluate technical feasibility, risks, requirements, budgets, quality standards, and safety considerations.
Collaborate closely with Sales, Project Management, and Cost Engineering teams throughout the proposal process.
Create machine concepts and layouts using PowerPoint and SolidWorks.
Present and explain technical concepts to customers in a professional and convincing manner.
Support technical discussions with customers during the quotation phase.
Ensure a smooth and accurate transfer of awarded projects to the Project Management team.
