The Maintenance Planner is responsible for ensuring that spare parts inventory levels are maintained at optimal levels in the warehouse to support maintenance operations.
Responsibilities
- Ensure adequate spare parts inventory is available to support maintenance activities.
- Coordinate with Purchasing and suppliers by providing accurate machine and/or application information to ensure the correct materials are purchased through Purchase Orders.
- Audit spare parts inventory levels, including minimum and maximum stock requirements.
- Follow up on supplier Purchase Orders and material deliveries, supporting the Purchasing team as needed.
Requirements
- Industrial Engineering, Maintenance Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar position.
- Intermediate Excel skills.
- Knowledge of spare parts administration and inventory control.
- Knowledge of inventory auditing processes.
- Experience preparing and tracking purchase requisitions.
- Knowledge of supplier management and development.
- Experience negotiating with suppliers and service providers.
- Experience in maintenance planning and scheduling.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
