DESCRIPTION:
As a Director of Project Management at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will guide critical strategic initiatives that drive our mission of enabling customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. You'll oversee complex, cross-functional projects spanning multiple divisions, working closely with leadership to deliver impactful results. This role combines strategic vision with practical execution,
requiring you to establish project governance frameworks, shape strategy into risk adjusted execution, serve as a strategic partner to our Sr Executives and business leaders, enhance operational efficiency through operating model redesign, and develop collaborative teams. You'll manage portfolios of strategic initiatives focused on business growth, operational efficiency, and digital transformation while ensuring alignment with corporate objectives. The position offers the opportunity to create significant value through leadership of key programs that directly contribute to our company's continued growth and success in serving science globally.
REQUIREMENTS:
Advanced Degree plus 10 years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree plus 12 years of progressive project/program management experience in complex organizations
Preferred Fields of Study: Business, Life Sciences, or related field
Project Management Professional (PMP) certifica
