About This RoleAs a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) - SMA at our esteemed biotechnology organization, you will be an integral member of our medical affairs team, focusing on Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA). In this dynamic role, you will be the foundation of our customer engagement strategy, interacting directly with Key Medical Experts, Healthcare Professionals (HCPs), and key academic institutions. Your responsibility will be to articulate the clinical and scientific narrative for our therapies, ensuring deep understanding and confidence in clinical decision-making. This role is pivotal in advancing medical practice within the field of neuroscience and contributing to our mission of enhancing patient care. As an MSL, you will foster strategic, long‑term relationships and be seen as a collaborative partner rather than a transactional contact.

- Engage with key stakeholders as a credible and trusted medical/scientific expert, enhancing their confidence in clinical decisions for patient care.
- Provide tailored, credible, and unbiased scientific information aligned with each customer's needs and Biogen's clinical and medical strategies.
- Build and maintain valued long‑term relationships with customers, developing scientific advocates for our neuroscience ambitions.
- Stay abreast of therapy advances, current research, and detailed knowledge of Biogen products and relevant Disease Areas.
- Extract and share high‑value medical insights to shape Biogen's medical and clinical strategies.
- Collaborate compliantly with cross‑functional teams, particularly with the Commercial organization, while maintaining the non‑promotional nature of the role.
