Financial Analyst

Location: Latin America (Remote)

⏰ Schedule: Full-time - CST (Central Standard Time)

Role Summary

We are seeking a proactive and analytical Financial Analyst to join a dynamic U.S.-based financial services firm. The adecuado candidate will have solid experience in financial modeling, strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, and a background in investment banking or FP&A.; This position involves providing analytical support to CFOs/Controllers, delivering insights to clients, and maintaining financial models that drive strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain three-statement financial models (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow).
- Conduct cash flow forecasting, financial performance analysis, and variance tracking.
- Support CFOs and/or Controllers with data-driven insights and actionable recommendations for U.S.-based clients.
- Analyze client financials to identify irregularities, trends, and optimization opportunities.
- Manage and update financial models after month-end close and other reporting cycles.
- Collaborate on projects involving private equity-backed funding, acquisitions, or sales.




- Work across multiple client accounts simultaneously, maintaining high-quality deliverables and communication.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A;, or investment banking.
- Proven expertise in financial modeling (three-statement model).
- Strong command of U.S. GAAP principles.
- Experience working with multiple clients in a dynamic environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial data tools, and AI tools.
- Excellent English communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Ability to work independently and proactively, with strong problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with U.S.-based teams or clients.

Nice to Have

- CPA or CMA certification.
- Experience in agriculture, construction or logistics industries.
- Knowledge of QuickBooks Online or other ERP systems (e.g., Famous, Sage).
- Exposure to private equity or capital injection projects.
